With great pleasure, AFAES ry in cooperation with Universal Peace Federation invites you to the celebration of Africa Day.

Africa Day is celebrated around the world annually, marking the establishment of the Organization of African Unity (OAU) and this time 57th Anniversary. Its aim is to celebrate African diversity, successes and to highlight the cultural & economic potential that exists on the African Continent. Africa Day’s objective is to raise awareness and understanding of developmental issues in Africa, to highlight the cultural richness and diversity of Africa.

Celebrating Africa Day started in Finland initiated by Keijo Mikkanen 2012, today is the 9th year to do so. From the start, AFAES and UPF Finland have built respectful and mutual cooperation which has given birth to many different projects and strengthening cooperation among African NGOs.
